Faculty

Assistant/Associate Professor (Genomics)
The new faculty member is expected to be or become a leader in quantitative methods relevant to genomics in cancer research applications. The faculty member will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with basic scientists and biomedical research leveraging genomics technologies to better understand cancer. We expect the faculty member to build a team of research scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to help in these collaborations as well as develop quantitative tools that can be widely applicable.

Assistant/Associate Professor (Imaging)

The new faculty member is expected to be or become a leader in quantitative methods relevant to imaging in cancer research applications. The faculty member will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with basic scientists and biomedical research developing cutting edge measurement approaches based on imaging technology and working with faculty at DBMI and across Harvard in developing and field-testing novel methods. We also expect the faculty member to build a team of research scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to help in these collaborations as well as develop quantitative tools that can be widely applicable.

Assistant Professor (Clinical Trials)

The new faculty member is expected to be deeply committed to the development of quantitative methods relevant in cancer clinical trials research, to work collaboratively with investigators in the Susan Smith Center for Women’s Cancers, and to pursue independent research. Candidates are expected to hold a doctoral degree, or a strong postdoctoral record, in statistics, biostatistics, or allied fields. The new faculty member will be expected to participate in the Department of Biostatistics education mission.
